In regards to products having the same batch number, it is not unusual or out of the ordinary for any manufacturer to recycle and use the same lot and batch number with products in inventory.
By doing a simple Google search, there’s information and data to support that historically many manufacturers worldwide with a vast array of products will recycle lot in bats numbers.
Long as the customers are able to provide the order ID confirmation number, the email that is used and the current lot and batch number the quality control department will be able to pinpoint and investigate the exact manufacturing time of the specific product.
The initial purpose with the original batch numbers is for product authentication and validation with approved vendors.
