T3 is like the manager of your body’s metabolism, overseeing the production of energy from food and stored substrates such as fat, muscle, and glycogen. In the second approach, we’re going all out for rapid fat loss, even if it means some thyroid suppression. Shoot for 50 mcg/day, or even up to 75-100 mcg/day for a limited period of 8-12 weeks.
From what I’ve seen, T3 can work wonders for fat loss without causing too many side effects – as long as you don’t go overboard.
